| Exercises: |
This is one of the most important aspects to a preparedness program and often the most overlooked. A good exercise provides our clients with a means to validate their plans and ensure their personnel have been properly trained. We started our business providing innovative exercise programs through the use of our simulator and our proprietary exercise development software. Our competitors have tried to emulate what we provide but PPS continues to set the benchmark for exercise design, execution, and reporting.Below is a listing of just some of the exercises we provide:
- HSEEP Exercises
- Maritime Security Exercises
- PREP Exercises
- Integrated Exercises
PPS utilizes simulation and exercise development tools to bring a sense of realism to each of our exercise and training programs. (See Figures 1-3 ) |

| Emergency Plan Development and Maintenance: |
PPS provides our clients with plan development and maintenance support. We work with our clients to identify their areas of weakness and strength and build an effective response plan that can be used in the event of an actual emergency. We also supply follow-up support in updating the plan to meet the requirements of our clients and the regulatory authorities requiring the development of the plan. Examples of the types of plans we provide are listed below:
- Facility and Vessel Response Plans
- Security Plans
- Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans
|
| Our plans meet the requirements of each of the federal and state oversight agencies. If you have any questions on plan development and/or maintenance, we would be happy to discuss this with you and provide a quote. |
| Emergency Response Management: |
PPS is recognized for our expertise because we have “been there and done that”. Each of our trainers and facilitators are also first responders for our business partners. We provide, through partnering agreements, the ability to set up the technology and run a command post for extended periods of time. We also provide personnel to staff the Planning Section and the supporting unit leadership levels. Through our partnering arrangements we can bring in an entirely staffed incident management structure that allows our clients to get back to the business of making money while our response team ensures the appropriate resources are being utilized on the response.
